"Beansie"--female/spayed--spaniel mix--6 months old
Beansie was found on an active construction site covered in mud. She was a small, fragile puppy whose doomed destiny was altered by two caring young women. Beansie is so affectionate and loves the company of other dogs. She likes cats and wants to play with them and investigate them. It is all up to the cat how the investigation process goes. Beansie is not going to be a big dog and still being a puppy she will need additional work on house training. She is a very smart puppy and her sweet disposition, size and social nature will make her a great addition to any family.

"Ariel"--female/spayed--corgi/doxie/pug mix--5 yrs old
Ariel was surrendered to the rescue with her buddy Cheeto when their owners could no longer care for them. They do not need to be adopted together and would be fine separated. Ariel gets very attached to her person and will love you unconditionally. She is good with cats and other dogs and might be best with older kids. She is crate trained but loves to sleep in the bed with her person if possible.

ADOPTION PENDING--"Carrot Top"--male/neutered--terrier mix--5 yrs old
5 year old Carrot Top spent at least part of his life tethered to a short chain without proper shelter on a rural property with 22 other dogs. Those are the conditions sweet Carrot Top came out of when he was taken into rescue and placed in a foster home. Carrot is a sweet boy, but he is still working on building trust in humans. He loves to be petted and shown affection, however, when you move your hand towards him, he flinches. He's never snappy or aggressive and has never been heard to growl or show any inkling of aggression. It just seems like he doesn't know what to expect or like he is anticipating unkind treatment. All he really wants is to be loved on and he is coming out of his shell more every day. Carrot Top gets along well with other pets. He is fine with other dogs and mostly just ignores cats. He is crate trained and does excellent with house training as long as he is taken out frequently or on a regular schedule. Carrot Top rides well in a car, walks well on a leash and does just fine at bath time, seeming to love the lathering up part. He is a low maintenance dog in terms of grooming and activity needs ( just regular walks and backyard play time ) but would need a kind hearted and patient person or family who would continue to nurture him and help him gain confidence. Please consider giving a new life to a deserving sweet dog who missed out on a loving family the first 5 years of his life. He will be forever grateful.

"TYLER"--male/neutered--retriever mix--tan/wht--1 yr old
Tyler is such a cutie and he talks when he first greets you! He was found as a stray and taken to a small shelter with hardly any foot traffic so he was brought into rescue. He is as sweet as he is handsome and soooo loving. Although initially Tyler can be a little shy in a new environment, he warms up quickly with gentle encouragement. He is potty and crate trained and loves to play with other dogs so he would do best in a home with another dog. Very affectionate and loves his person too ... likes to chill and be in your lap or cuddled up next to you in bed. Tyler would love to be part of a loving ,forever home and would return that love many times over. Maybe he's the one for you!
