"Lexi"--female/spayed--boxer/Catahoula mix--8 yrs old
Lexi almost has too many good qualities to list, she seems to be housebroken since being in her foster home. Lexi was surrendered to a shelter that was overcrowded for simply not being wanted any longer by her owners, that reason alone just killed me and we couldn't leave her there. Lexi also had a large benign mammary tumor that we had to have removed and she has recovered well. She is good with other dogs and cats and loves kids. She is quiet and will just find a spot to lay down. She loves car rides and is very obedient with basic commands. But since there really isn't a "perfect" dog she does have a couple of bad habits to tell you about. If she gets loose she does not come back right away, we have had a couple instances of having to chase her down after she got out the front door. She also needs more work on her leash manners, she likes to pull and we are working on getting better with that. If Lexi and her few imperfections are something you can handle please contact us on how to adopt her.
