ADOPTION PROCESS

To adopt, please complete one of the following applications using the buttons below.  One of our fosters or volunteers will review your application and contact you.
Cat Adoption Application
Dog Adoption Application

Our goal is to get each rescued animal into its forever home, that is the reason for the process. We look forward to matching you with the perfect forever friend.

Each of our animals are in foster homes prior to being adopted. Our fosters are essential to our rescue group. By adopting an animal that has been in a foster home, we are able to give you more accurate information about the animal that you are interested in adopting.

Steps to start the adoption process:

-Fill out the adoption application.

-Talk to the foster parent or volunteer to answer any questions.

-Meet and greet to make sure that the animal is a fit for you.

-Home visit to be sure that your home is a fit for the animal. (adequate fencing for dogs, meeting other animals in home to make sure initial meet goes well, etc.)

-Start the trial adoption period, usually a two week period where the animal is in your home to adjust and to make sure there are no "deal breakers" to impede finalizing the adoption.

-After the trial period and you have decided that the animal is a fit for your family we will finalize the adoption with signing the adoption contract and paying the adoption fee and you will receive the animals vet record also at that time.

-The final step is to Love this pet like a family member and if at any time something changes (we hope it doesn't) that they will be returned to our rescue.
